Nuts and washers for underwater bulkhead connectors: six UNF-2B thread sizes from 3/8-24 to 7/8-14, brass standard with 316L stainless steel or titanium customisable
Nuts and Washers for Underwater Bulkhead Connectors
Bulkhead mounting nuts and washers provide the clamping force that draws the connector flange against the panel and compresses the O-ring face seal — the foundation of every IP68 bulkhead connector installation. The default nut material is brass; stainless steel or titanium alloy can be customised. Precision-machined with full thread engagement depth, they match the mounting threads of the connector series rather than generic hardware sizes.

Key Design Features
Brass standard, 316L / titanium optional: naval brass gives inherent seawater resistance and suits frequent reconfiguration; passivated 316L stainless steel is the standard for permanent subsea installations; titanium for galvanic compatibility with titanium bulkheads.
Full-thread engagement: nuts are machined with complete thread depth, unlike truncated generic nuts — full load-bearing capability on the connector bulkhead thread.
Engineered washers: sized to the connector flange with machined-flat faces (0.05 mm tolerance) for even load distribution and panel-surface protection; recessed-centre washers available for O-ring bulkhead seals.
Six standard thread sizes: from 3/8-24 UNF for micro connectors up to 7/8-14 UNF for large bulkheads — one nut per connector series, no adapters.
Replacement and spares: ideal replacement hardware for in-service connector panels, ROV builds and subsea junction boxes; corrosion-seized nuts from field installations can be swapped for new hardware.
SubConn Compatible: thread forms match standard SubConn-style bulkhead interfaces across all connector series sold on this site.

Typical Applications
Replacement mounting hardware for in-service bulkhead connector installations, new ROV and subsea equipment build connector panels, spare hardware kits for subsea maintenance teams, and panel-mount hardware for subsea junction boxes.
Notes for Selection
Do not use generic hardware-store fasteners — carbon steel rusts within weeks in seawater and zinc plating fails under galvanic attack. Specify stainless steel for permanent installations, deep water (>3,000 m) and offshore platforms; brass for commercial diving and equipment requiring frequent connector removal. For O-ring sealed bulkheads use recessed-centre washers to avoid crushing the seal during tightening. Provide your connector series (MCBH, HPBH, BCR, XSG-BCL etc.) and we will cross-reference the correct hardware automatically.
Match your hardware automatically
Quote your connector model or series (e.g. MCIL4M, BH8F, LPBH7F, BCR1508F, XSG-4-BCL) and we will
cross-reference the correct locking sleeve, nut and washer or O-ring kit. Standard items ship from
stock; custom materials (titanium, Inconel, special elastomers) available to order.
