ILB2M Power Connector — Overview

The ILB2M is a SubConn Compatible in-line (cable-to-cable / cable-to-equipment) subsea power connector, male (pins) face, from the 2-contact battery charging group of the Power series. Rated 600 V DC/AC rms at 25 A per contact (max 50 A per connector), it is wet-mateable for more than 500 mating cycles and qualified by open-face pressure testing to 800 bar / 11,600 psi — a dependable interface for marine battery packs, ROV power feeds and underwater pump units.

Key Design Features

• Marine battery charging: the 2-, 3- and 4-contact battery connectors of the Power series carry 600 V at 25 A per contact (max 50 A per connector) — purpose-built for charging subsea battery packs.
• Keyed mating: a stainless steel location pin prevents mis-mating of multi-contact power interfaces.
• Wet-mateable: more than 500 wet mating cycles with gold-plated brass contacts for stable, low-resistance power paths.
